Job Requirements Working closely with the Chief Online Editor, the Web Coordinator shares responsibility for the design and production of Poets.org, the Academy‘ award-winning website. The person in this position develops and updates content; analyzes traffic patterns; optimizes search results; and develops and tracks sources of revenue that flow through the website, including donations, memberships, and the giftshop. The Web Coordinator has primary responsibility for the technology and architecture underpinning the site, which includes contact with outside vendors. The Web Coordinator is part of a team that devises strategies to maintain the site‘ pre-eminent position among poetry websites and organizes the look and feel of Poets.org to provide the best possible visitor experience.
