harshing my mellow
Random fact about me #1: I have never paid more than $2500 for a car.
For the first 5 years of my adult life I was a musician. == broke
Then I married a musician. == broke
Then I was a student, married to a musician. == even more broke
Then I got an MFA and student loans, married to a musician. == yep, still broke.
I just buy an older car and keep it 5-7 years, run it into the ground and get another beater.
I love my musician hubby of 15 years. It’s worth it.

So far my car seems OK. But a place near us is starting to sell biodiesel so I might pick up an old diesel car and get a kit for it.
