I get homesick for Michigan about this time every year. I think it is because of this. I might have to take a trip over here this weekend but it won’t be the same. It’s at a big freaking mall. But when I did a search to see what was around here I found someplace not too far away that has my favorite variety of apple, Arkansas Black. (They’re really hard and kind of sour.)

I like Sinners Welcome, the new Mary Karr book, and hope she’ll do a sequel to Cherry, though it’ll take a lot of bravery to write it honestly.
