I watched some of the World Cup games. Ok. 3. And for the most part, I could understand what was going on. Yesterday’s game started out all exciting then sort of bogged down. I thought for sure that France would win. Shows how much I know. I was thinking about it–I don’t think I’ve ever physically come in contact with a soccer ball. Never touched one. But I could get into this soccer / football thing. Watching it I mean. George Szirtes had some interesting thoughts about it.
