    I thought at first maybe Jonathan Jones was socially stunted, given his take on William S. Burroughs. Maybe he’s just joking.

    Burroughs may well be the most “important” of the Beats in the long run, if that means anything anymore.

    And RIP, Ron Asheton. The Stooges — also ahead of their time.
