(I had a family emergency (actually Darryl did) & also my front tooth cracked for no logical reason Wed.) Sheesh. I don’t think I’ll make it to the emergency dentist appt this morning because of some ice that is coming. We’ll see. It is not crazy pain but I would really not have a front tooth with a crack in it, though you can’t really tell because it is near the side. Dentists are expensive. And my teeth are an integral part of my face.

Good luck with the cracked tooth. Had the same thing fixed on Monday — asked how much with insurance vs. sans? A difference of about $650 — and the dentist knew the system exactly. Creeped me out, but glad to have it fixed regardless.

p.s. hope the family emergency turned out ok.

Cool Helen. That poem has some positivity to it, which I need right now haha.

In the interview, Ashberry refers to it as “preaching to the choir.” It is a fabulous image about an empty church and the preacher needing to deliver his sermon to someone (the choir have to be there to sing, they can’t just get up and leave). Sometimes it feels like blog poets are in a very similar circumstance.
