I assume the link to the bustard story has to do with the possibility of confusing “bustard” with…a very similar, slightly improper word. I completely see how this could happen, but as a birdwatcher, I missed the possibility until I thought about it (having first skimmed the story). I wonder what others’ experiences here are/will be.
